The most common field of study for Chemistry majors is chemistry, so it is expected that you will have a background in Chemistry. However, if you decide to major in Chemistry, you will need to learn about different aspects of Chemistry, including chemical bonding, chemical diagrams, reaction kinetics, chemical processes, and gases and compounds.It is important to note that despite the differences in the subject matter between the two major subjects, the process of getting a degree in Biology or Chemistry does not change that much. You still need to work hard in your classes, be organized in your classwork, and maintain a good grade point average.
